Charlie & Fred
Training began at an
early age for the sons of Calabrian born parents
Gino and Giovanna. Charlie and Fred spent many hours
in the kitchen learning to cook and refining Southern
Italian recipes.
Before Rudy's,
Charlie & Fred trained in New York City
restaurants as well as in Fort Lee NJ at Jerry's
Italian Cuisine Ristorante well known for the
spectacular Calabria Room. Charlie and Fred had always
dreamed of having a establishment of their own.
The two brothers envisioned using their experience of
fine food and service to create their own Italian
Ristorante. In 1972 we opened our ideas and the
door of Rudy's Ristorante and Pizzaria. which at the
time was primarily pizza, heroes and pasta. Within a
period of three years we developed a full scale
Italian restaurant.
In addition to
fantastic food and comfortable dining, Charlie and
Fred's establishment offers professional and family
recipe dining, knowledgeable service, an extensive
wine list, private party room and a full off premise
catering menu.
Charlie and Fred are
proud in the work they have done in offering our
customers wonderful Italian dishes, fantastic
service and a wonderful dining ambiance.
